This is to inform that an Internal Complaints Committee cum Gender Sensitization Cell has been framed in Satya Group of Institutions for the prevention of Sexual Harassment of female staff and students.
All the staff members and students of Satya Group of Institutions are suggested to bring their complaints to this Committee for appropriate action. As per the Government Rules, this committee shall have members and functions as per following:
Microsoft had organized a seminar, “India AppFest 2013” on 26th February. Around thirty students of SCET took part in this seminar where they were taught and guided on how to build smart apps for the recently launched Windows 8 platform using various languages like C, C++, Java, HTML and Visual Basics.
It is a matter of pride that the entire event was organized by Abhimanyu Raj who is a student of CSE 6th Sem.
Once again, Satya Group of Institution tasted the mega success in Second Job Fair, by providing the 516 jobs in the Job Fair held on 16 February 2013 in its campus in Palwal, Haryana.
17865 students registered themselves nationwide. These students were from approximately 426 colleges of 17 Indian states. Looking at the huge registrations and one day Job Fair SGI invited 4300 students and 4150 students appeared in the interviews.
Though it was rainy day but could not impact on student’s passion and need for the job. Honrable Deputy Commissioner of Palwal District Mr. Atul Kumar inaugurated the Job Fair and personally visited the interviews and interacted with the company representatives. He appreciated the initiative taken by Satya Group by creating such a wonderful platform for the students and the companies.
With the joints endeavor of New York Institute of Technology, NY, USA, MBA Academy India & Satya Group of Institutions, an Indo-US Case Workshop was held in the school of Management Studies on 5 January 2013 at SCET.
For the first time in Palwal region, more than 2000 students of Government and Private Sr. Secondary Schools participated in the career counseling session “Disha” which was organized in the SCET campus on 8th December, 2012 in collaboration with Infosys. In this session the students were made aware of the current opportunities available in the industrial market and were guided how to grab these opportunities by pursue the technical qualification after 10+2.
Dr. P.N. Razdan Vice Chancellor of Dr. D. Y. Patil University, Pune and has worked with renowned organizations such as The All India council for Technical Education visited SCET on 27 November 2012 with a focus on projects and improvement in the academic culture of SCET.
