About Diploma Engineering (2 YEARS- Lateral Entry)
Direct Admission in 2nd year of the Diploma in Engineering is also known as Lateral Entry Admission in Diploma. Its duration is 2 years and 12th pass students (with Physics & Maths) or the students who have completed 2 years approved ITI are eligible to take direct admission in 2nd year of the Diploma Engineering.
Advantages of Diploma Courses after 10th :
Duration of diploma courses after 10th is 3 years. Within this time, the course helps candidates to become a half engineer. The course offers more emphasis of practical sessions rather than theory. It is quite suitable for students to prove their competency for industrial jobs.
Diploma is useful for certain professions that do not require a degree level qualification. Cost and time saving are the advantages extended in these cases.
